Information Desk -
The Information Desk will be available monthly for all Members and prospective members in the main area of the Library on the following Mondays between 10.30 and 11.30 - 

The person on the Desk will be wearing a U3A lanyard.

Accessibility of Venues -
A substantial number of our frequently-used venues have been assessed regarding how accessible they are for those of our Members who suffer from some impairment, minor or major.

Hearing Awareness - Are You a Hearing Aide ? -

Photography Guidelines for U3A Members (and members of the Public) -
Please follow these Guidelines whenever you are considering taking some photographs of U3A activities (or on any other occasions).

Data Privacy Policy -
We treat your privacy rights seriously, and our Privacy Policy sets out how we will deal with your ‘personal information’, that is, information that could identify, or is related to the identity of, you as an individual.

If you have forgotten your Membership Number and / or your password, the Member at the Information Desk will be able to assist you. Alternatively, you can send an e-mail to the Membership Secretary.

If you wish to contact a U3A member referred to in the Newsletter / Bulletin -
You can easily do this by simply "clicking" on the 'Newsletter' link in the U3A Menu on the left. and then click on the individual underlined, highlighted name. However, if you are a Member, please log-in to the U3A website first, before clicking on the relevant link in the Newsletter / Bulletin.
If you log-in first, then the e-mail form that opens when you click a link will already have your details filled in for you.
As well as saving you the effort of typing them in, it means that no spelling and typing errors can creep in.
So, log-in first, click the link in the Newsletter / Bulletin, and then type your message.
Click "OK" and away it goes. Simple !

You can join our Group by going to https://www.facebook.com/groups/u3acongleton/, logging into Facebook if necessary, and pressing "Join".

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) -
This recent development in "distance learning", already in use by many U3As, is a huge set of (mostly) free online courses aimed at large-scale interactive participation and open access via the web. In addition to traditional course materials such as videos, readings, and problem sets, MOOCs help build an interactive community for the students, professors, and teaching assistants.
