Group Details For Gardening DISC

Group Description :
The gardening involved includes planting (bulbs and perennials), pruning (esp. roses and fruit trees), splitting and transplanting perennials and the inevitable weeding. The work varies from week to week throughout the season and is most enjoyable done as a group, almost like a hit squad , where/when ever needed. We do meet on a regular basis weekly at a fixed time or on a more ad-hoc basis, notification will be by email and/or What's app, depending on the level of commitment. Currently we typically meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 10-12 or 2 to 4pm at one of the sites we work at (Elizabeth's Garden, West Rd; Community garden, Lawson St; Margaret's Place, Antrobus St; Just Bee garden & 3 borders in the Jubilee Gardens in Congleton Park and the community polytunnel at the park; the Dutch Wall around the Fairground car park; the rose border alongside the cricket club, West St; Congleton War Memorial Hospital gardens). We are open to suggestions for other sites and times.
