PROFESSOR CHENG MAN-CHING/GRAND MASTER HUANG SHENG SHYAN 37 STEP TAI CHI FORM This is one of the highest levels of tai chi and is based on defensive martial art principles. It aims to promote both mental and physical wellbeing and has been scientifically proven to help in strengthening the joints and muscles and keep blood flow working efficiently throughout the whole body if practised regularly and correctly. My teachers are Patrick Kelly/Jean and Dave Haines and also Master Wee Kee Jin. The class aims to teach the basic principles of tai chi as described in the classics. Some Qi Qong exercises for various organs of the body and individual training excercises will be included. It is recommended that students wear loose clothing and light shoes/pumps and bring water to the class Year 25/26: Members of the group 24/25 will be given priority. Any new joiners will need previous experience of this Form and/or know the basic principles
