Group Details For Discussion 24/25
Group Description :
Meetings are held monthly. Discussion group will meet on the first Monday of September but from then our meetings will be held on the third Monday, starting on 21st October. April's meeting will be on the 28th to avoid Easter.
Topics are chosen in advance. A member or guest speaker will introduce the topic to be discussed by members (political, technology, environment etc.). Local topics are often discussed (housing, pot holes etc.) in a shorter time span prior to the main item. Members are encouraged to contribute their opinions, participate in a spirit of good debate, and to suggest ideas for future discussion.
