PROFESSOR CHENG MAN-CHING/GRAND MASTER HUANG SHENG SHYAN 37 STEP TAI CHI FORM This is one of the highest levels of tai chi and is based on defensive martial art principles. It aims to promote both mental and physical wellbeing and has been scientifically proven to help in strengthening the joints and muscles and keep blood flow working efficiently throughout the whole body if practised regularly and correctly. My teachers are Patrick Kelly/Jean and Dave Haines and also Master Wee Kee Jin.
The Tai Chi STARTER GROUP - beginners will learn the choreography to Chen Man Ching short Yang form. Basic principles will be covered. Some Qi Qong exercises for various organs of the body and individual training excercises will be included.
Year 25/26: 24/25 members will be given priority but there are expected to be 2 places for new joiners. It is recommended that students wear loose clothing and light shoes/pumps and bring water to the class.
