Group Details For Book group 1 24/25
Group Description :
We meet once a month to discuss a book chosen by group members and for members to recommend other books that they have read recently - often lending books to each other. The meetings are very informal, and although we like an occasional challenge there is no intellectual pressure. The authors we have read most recently are:- Patricia Highsmith, C J Sansum, Sarah Winman, Graham Greene, Iain Pears, Charles Frazier, Rory Stewart and Elif Shafak. Coming up are Alice Munro, Charles Dickens, Ann Patchett and Sebastian Barry. We like to choose from a wide variety of genres. Existing members are re-enrolled unless they request otherwise. There may be places free for new joiners.
