Group Description :
A group for any member of Congleton U3A with an interest in railways, real and models, of any period, location or gauge. We meet on the 1st Thursday of each month at the Old Saw Mill. Each meeting begins with a talk by one or more members on a railway-related topic, followed by informal discussion. Instead of talks in July and August, and at other times when something interesting happens, the group also arranges excursions to heritage railways, model railway exhibitions, transport museums and other sites of interest.
